CHUCK EDGINGTON - Ph.D.


Dr. Edgington is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in the evaluation of children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, behavioral, and mental health conditions. 


Dr. Edgington is originally from Utah and received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah (1998). He worked as a counselor at Valley Behavioral Health’s ARTEC program during that time, where he was initially introduced to adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. He completed a Ph.D. in Child Clinical Psychology at Oklahoma State University (2007). Followed by a 1-year internship and 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric & Child Neuropsychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (completed 2009). There, he worked as part of a multispecialty team focused on assessment and medical management of children with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. He then joined the team at Today’s Therapy Solutions where he helped build a psychological evaluation and behavior therapy division. In 2012 Dr. Edgington founded Full Circle Developmental Center, a multidisciplinary, multi-site team of professionals providing services to children with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, behavioral, and mental health conditions. He returned to Utah in 2018 and joined the team at ABS Kids, where he worked as a senior psychologist along with Dr. Natalie Roth, through the end of 2023. 


Dr. Edgington founded Psychology Specialists of Utah (PSU) in 2021, working the practice part time alongside his full-time job with ABS Kids. Beginning in January 2024, he has dedicated himself full-time at PSU, where his primary goal is to continue his personal mission to provide high quality evaluation of adults, children, and families affected by neurodevelopmental disabilities and PANS/PANDAS. He and his wife have 4 children, 1 grandchild (and growing ), and enjoy music, mountains, and family time. 


NATALIE ROTH - Ph.D.



Natalie Roth, Ph.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental assessment. Dr. Roth grew up in Utah and attended the University of Utah before moving to Los Angeles for graduate school. She graduated from the APA approved psychology program at Fuller Theological Seminary a pre-doctoral internship at St. John’s Child Development Center in Santa Monica, California. Her interest in autism was strengthened as part of a multi-disciplinary assessment through the Utah Department of Health and the University of Utah and consolidated as the Clinical Psychology Director of ABS Kids, an assessment and treatment company for children with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Roth has evaluated and worked with the families of hundreds of children with autism spectrum and other developmental disorders and recognizes that each child steps into the office with unique and valuable characteristics. She believes firmly in the therapeutic benefit of an accurate evaluation, delivered in a way that is understandable and meaningful to families. 

Taryn Nicksic-Springer, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Dr. Taryn Nicksic-Springer, also known as "Dr. T." is a licensed psychologist and doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) at Psychology Specialists of Utah. With nearly 30 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities across the lifespan, Dr. Nicksic-Springer is known for her deep expertise, collaborative spirit, and commitment to helping families navigate complex systems with clarity and compassion.


Her work centers on autism and severe developmental disabilities, with a focus on comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based behavioral support. Over the past decade, she has specialized in diagnostic evaluation, service coordination, and intervention planning—helping children, teens, and young adults access the care and resources they need to thrive.


Dr. Nicksic-Springer is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities by enhancing access to services and empowering families through education and support. She is particularly dedicated to changing life trajectories by connecting families with meaningful interventions that promote independence and quality of life.


In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nicksic-Springer has presented widely on autism, behavioral interventions, and caregiver training, and has contributed to numerous educational initiatives throughout Utah. Her warm, family-centered approach and deep knowledge make her a trusted partner to both parents and professionals.
